Acting dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy of Kherson State University Lyubov Petukhova was awarded the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine medal “Volodymyr Monomakh”.

Lyubov Petukhova was honored on the occasion of the university’s 108th anniversary.
According to the 2013 Resolution of the Presidium of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, the “Volodymyr Monomakh” medal is a departmental award. It is awarded to educators, scientists, public figures, and politicians for personal achievements in the fields of pedagogical and psychological sciences and on the occasion of anniversary dates, celebrations of professional holidays of education and science workers, and so on.
Recall, Lyubov Petukhova is the wife of KhSU rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.
In 2009 she earned a Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences degree. Petukhova is the chair of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Pedagogy and the chair of the Faculty’s Art Council.
In 2023 Lyubov Petukhova headed the Supervisory Board of Berdyansk Pedagogical University.
She was also awarded the Order of Princess Olga, 2nd class.
