The Russian satellite operator “Russian World” announced the resumption of television broadcasting in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, including in the Kherson region.
Occupation sources report this.
This concerns the broadcasting that was previously provided by the satellite “Express-AT”. It was through it that Russian TV channels were transmitted, including the propaganda package “Russian World”, aimed at the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
The occupation authorities also say that residents of the TOT can again access Russian TV channels, but they need to retune their equipment.
Recall, the propaganda broadcasting disappeared on the TOT last month. This happened due to Russia’s loss of the satellite.
Note that before the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian satellite TV operators were operating in the Kherson region. Last year Russian authorities banned the use of receivers tuned to European satellites. Since then they have started installing “Russian World” antennas.
