A special audit committee will be established at the Kherson Regional State Administration.
The corresponding order was signed by the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
As stated in the document, the new body is being created as a permanent consultative and advisory platform to improve internal audit and provide expert consultations.
The committee must ensure the full independence of internal audits, preventing interference with the work of auditors and promoting the creation of appropriate conditions for their activities.
The head of the newly created committee was appointed as the head of the apparatus of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleh Yaroshak. The committee’s membership also includes the heads of key departments and directorates, including representatives from the finance, education, social protection, and healthcare sectors.
Committee members will monitor how the administration implements recommendations arising from inspections and will discuss the results of assessments of the quality of auditing activities.
