The occupation-appointed head of the city of Kakhovka, Pavlo Filipchuk, announced a personnel crisis due to salary cuts.
He said this to Kremlin-controlled media.
According to him, the Russian Federation canceled additional allowances for employees of frontline communities located on the left bank of the Kherson region, which led to a significant outflow of personnel.
Filipchuk claims that currently in occupied Kakhovka “optimization” is taking place, which involves staff reductions and a decrease in wages by more than half. Because of this, he says, migrant workers are leaving particularly actively.
He also said that after the cancellation of the supplements, workers are not interested in working in Kakhovka, since they can find work in “safer settlements”, in particular in Henichesk or Novotroitske.
In addition, from May 1 the Kakhovka community plans to move to a new pay system, which involves reducing the staff from 140 to 78 employees. Recently, according to Filipchuk, about 20 people have already resigned.
Filipchuk also complained about numerous inspections which, he said, complicate the work of local administrations.
