Athletes from Kherson region won 2 first and 3 second places at the Open Regional Championship in mixed martial arts (MMA), which took place in Mykolaiv and was dedicated to the memory of fallen soldiers.
This was reported by the Kherson MVA.
Seven athletes aged 10 to 17 participated in the competition, representing the martial arts club «Kherson Budokan».
The winners of the tournament were Timur Nechevilov and Ivan Krasnopeiev.
Silver medals were won by Rostyslav Dotsenko, Artem Nikulin and Oleksandra Susoyeva.
It was previously reported that Kherson rower Michelle Fesun became a medalist at the Ukrainian Cup and All-Ukrainian competitions among junior men and junior women in kayaking and canoeing, dedicated to the memory of Olympic champion Yuliya Ryabchynska.
