A 77-year-old woman from Kherson died in the hospital after sustaining an explosive injury and lacerations to her legs as a result of enemy shelling of the Korabelnyi district that took place on April 11.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Military Civil Administration, Yaroslav Shanko.
Despite the patient’s critical condition, medics actively engaged in the fight for her life, but the injuries proved fatal, the post says.
Recall, over the past day Russian forces shelled 42 settlements along the coast of the Kherson region. As a result of these attacks, 1 person was killed and 5 others were wounded.
