A police officer from the Kherson region, Kostyantyn Zaderiy, died in hospital from severe injuries sustained as a result of an attack by a Russian drone.
This was reported on the Kherson Region Police website.
As noted in the statement, Kostyantyn Zaderiy was born in Novovoskresenske of the Novovorontsovka community.
Since June 2015 he worked as an expert in the department of technical and forensic support for the internal affairs bodies of the Research Forensic Expert Center under the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kherson region. And after graduating from the National Academy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine he worked as a forensic expert in the Kherson police.
On the evening of November 24 the Russian army dropped explosives from a drone onto the service vehicle of an investigative-operational team. There were five police officers in the car, including Kostyantyn Zaderey.
Today it became known that due to his severe wounds he died in hospital. The man was 36 years old. He is survived by his wife and parents.
