Two more teenagers were returned to territory controlled by Ukraine from the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
Among those rescued is a 17-year-old girl. According to him, representatives of the Russian special services broke into her home, carried out an illegal search and checked her gadgets, threatening the mother with a weapon. The occupiers also threatened to take the girl to an orphanage, and her mother — “to the basement”.
Currently the teenagers, together with their families, are safe and are receiving necessary assistance at the “Hope and Recovery” centers.
According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, since the beginning of 2026, 31 children have already been returned from the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region.
Recall, recently five children were returned from Russian captivity and the temporarily occupied territories: among them were residents of the Kherson infant home.
