The servicewoman with the call sign “Kara”, who died on the Zaporizhzhia direction, is a native of the Henichesk community, Yuliia Bereziuk.
This was reported by the Henichesk MVA.
Yuliia was a senior soldier-operator of aerial and ground unmanned systems of the 110th separate mechanized brigade. She was 26 years old.
“Yuliia was born and raised in the Henichesk community. She endured the harsh trials of the occupation of her native Kherson region, survived enemy «filtrations» and abuse. But neither fear nor pain broke her. Her spirit remained strong and unbroken. Despite all she endured, Yuliia consciously returned to the ranks to defend Ukraine — her land, her dignity and our people’s right to freedom”, – it says
On February 10, a Russian drone struck the area where the group was located. That day, the lives of Yuliia and her sister-in-arms «Laiza» were cut short.
Yuliia Bereziuk was buried on February 16 in the village of Borivtsi, Chernivtsi region.
