The pig farm in the Beryslav Raion of Kherson Oblast was hit three times by attacks from Russian drones and missiles during December 2025.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
According to him, despite the ongoing attacks and the difficult security situation, the enterprise continues to operate. This refers to the pig farm of the agroholding KSG Agro.
The enterprise began operating in 2023 after restructuring the business under wartime conditions. Currently the pig farm houses about 15,000 pigs, of which about 50 — sows of a new productive breed.
The farrowing unit is supplied with heat and electricity around the clock thanks to backup power. The farm has feed, water and continuous veterinary support.
