A part of the city’s territory in Kherson has been reported mined. Antipersonnel mines were found on National Guard Avenue (Admiral Senyavin) in the area of the bus station.
This is reported by police officers and explosive ordnance technicians.
It is reported that on the pedestrian walkway there is an object resembling a petal, khaki in color.
The mined area may be larger. Residents are urged to refrain from moving through this area and to be as cautious as possible.
Note that cases of remote mining in the Kherson region are not uncommon. Recently antipersonnel mines were found on Mykolaiv Highway — in the area of the hospital of the Regional Blood Service Center. Also the occupiers repeatedly mined the streets of the Dniprovskyi district.
