The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a decision to allocate significant funds to support frontline regions, in particular for the restoration of logistical infrastructure and strengthening defense capability.
This was reported by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko on the Cabinet’s website.
According to her, from the reserve fund the Government allocated UAH 1.76 billion for the repair of public roads in the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. The funds will also go to meet the defense needs of both regions.
Recall that, according to the deputy head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, in Kherson region roads are being repaired in the safer populated areas of the region, not in the coastal zones. This is explained the need to restore infrastructure, as the Russians severely damaged the roads with tanks when they withdrew from the right bank.
