The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed a decree imposing sanctions on 56 sea vessels that in 2022–2025 illegally entered Ukrainian ports temporarily occupied by Russia and exported food products.
This is reported on the head of state’s website.
Among the sanctioned vessels are 39 vessels of Russian nationality, as well as vessels from Panama, Cameroon, Togo, Eswatini, Barbados and other countries.
Among those known, in particular – ENISEY (RF), BAYAZE D, FINIKIA (Togo), SAN COSMAS, MONTE ROSA, LAODICEA (Union of the Comoros), SAN DAMIAN, SOURIA (Eswatini), VIKTOR ZABELIN (RF), ZAFAR (RF), СОMETA, PAWELL (Cameroon), SMP NOVODVINSK (RF), SIYANIE SEVERA (RF), KAPITAN KOKOVIN (RF), INZHENER TRUBIN (RF) and others.
The list also includes the Russian vessel MATROS KOSHKA, which in October 2025 exported from temporarily occupied Crimea more than 27 thousand tons of Ukrainian grain stolen from Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.
Recall that in April 2025 the said vessel was detained in Ukraine’s internal waters. On the basis of a court ruling it has been arrested, and the captain was notified of suspicion.
