On the left bank of Kherson Oblast, the occupation administration announced plans to open specialized cadet classes of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
This is reported by pro-Russian media.
According to them, the head of the occupation investigative department of the IC RF for Kherson Oblast, Dmytro Malikov, signed the relevant agreements with the region’s educational institutions.
Thus, according to the occupiers, starting in 2026 cadet classes are planned to be opened on the basis of general education schools in Henichesk, Chaplynka and Novotroitske districts.
The stated purpose of creating such classes is allegedly to form a personnel reserve for investigative bodies and to educate schoolchildren in the spirit of loyalty to Russian state institutions, patriotism and departmental traditions.
It is also reported that the educational process will be aimed at instilling in children a sense of responsibility to the state, respect for culture and the traditional values defined by the Russian side.
Earlier it was reported that 413 children from the occupied territories of Kherson region were recruited into the Russian “Yunarmiya”.
In May 2025, Ukrainian law enforcement announced a suspicion against Serafim Ivanov, the head of the “Yunarmiya” headquarters that the occupiers created on the left bank of Kherson region.
