A European record was set in Kherson Oblast — the largest collection of artillery shell casings engraved with portraits of the United Nations Secretaries-General.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko.
It concerns nine works, each of which symbolically depicts one of the UN Secretaries-General.
According to Shanko, the collection has artistic and symbolic significance — the casings, as elements of war, are reinterpreted as carriers of images that embody peace, diplomacy, and international security.
It is noted that the exhibition is planned to be placed in the Museum of Resistance as Kherson’s symbolic appeal to the world about the cost of peace.
The head of the Military Administration also reported that he personally presented the author of the collection with a certificate from the National Register of Records of Ukraine.
