Another instance of area mining was recorded in Kherson. Mines of the «Pelyustka» type were found on Myru Street between Krymska and Universytetska streets.
This was reported by the Kherson City Military Administration.
Residents are urged not to enter the specified area, as the mined zone may be significantly larger.
Note that in Kherson Russian forces have begun to massively use a new type of anti-personnel mines — the so-called “pryaniki”, which are smaller than “pelyustka” and pose a serious danger to civilians.
In addition, in recent days Russian forces have begun dropping new mines on settlements on the right bank of Kherson region, which are mostly wrapped in rags.
