The Russian government promises to allocate about 3.5 billion rubles for the restoration of power lines in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Pro-Russian media report this, citing the words of the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The funds are allegedly to be directed to repairing networks for ten facilities, supplying electricity to residential buildings, as well as to the purchase of special machinery and equipment.
The occupying authorities aim to complete all work and utilize the budget funding by the end of the current year.
Recall, on April 15 the occupation governor of Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo said that energy system of the left bank of the Kherson region is “controlled”.
Last year he promised to ensure “stable electricity supply” on the left bank of the region. The occupiers planned to replace worn power cables to “ensure a reliable power supply”, but mass power outages continue to this day.
