The Security Service of Ukraine announced suspicion against Russian citizen Anastasia Mykhailovska, who financed the occupiers on the left bank of Kherson region.
This is stated on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, at the end of 2022 Mykhailovska arrived in the temporarily occupied Hola Prystan on the left bank of Kherson region. It was there that she organized the transfer of military equipment for the 162nd Separate Reconnaissance Battalion of the 7th Guards Air Assault Brigade of the Russian Federation.
It is noted that this unit took direct part in combat operations against the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Kherson front.
Specifically, Mykhailovska handed over 800 helmets to the occupiers, purchased with funds collected through Russian banks and cryptocurrency wallets.
During January 2023 Mykhailovska continued to supply the occupying forces and reported on the transfer of generators, thermal imagers, radios and tools for repairing the equipment of Russian military personnel deployed in the region.
She also openly called the captured Ukrainian territories part of Russia and justified the actions of the Russian troops.
In addition, she became one of the main protagonists of the Russian propaganda film “Donbas. The Road Home 2022”, where she called for changing the borders of the Ukrainian state and justified the seizure of Ukrainian cities.
For these actions, Anastasia Mykhailovska is suspected of encroaching on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine (part 2 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), justifying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and financing actions committed with the aim of changing the boundaries of the territory and state border of Ukraine (part 3 of Article 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
It should be noted that earlier Anastasia Mykhailovska worked as an actress, journalist and TV presenter, and also lived and worked in the USA for a long time.
Since 2014 she became better known as a so-called war correspondent. In particular, she visited the temporarily occupied territories of Donbas, engaging in informational support and so-called volunteer assistance, in particular collecting and transferring humanitarian and material resources for Russian military units.

She is also the author of documentary films and has received a number of Russian and occupying-authority awards.
