Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed two new pseudo-judges in the temporarily occupied left bank of Kherson region.
This is reported by Kremlin-controlled media.
Thus, Elmira Mahmudova was appointed judge of the illegal Novokakhovka City Court of Kherson region.
In addition, Maria Larionova was appointed judge of the occupation’s Arbitration Court in Kherson region.
Earlier it was reported that the President of Russia signed a law that provides for an increase in social guarantees for judges whom Russia appointed to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, including in Kherson region.
It should be noted that the activities of the occupation courts are considered illegal, and employees of these institutions bear criminal liability. Thus, a former Crimean judge who headed the occupation court in Kherson was sentenced in absentia to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
