As part of the latest prisoner exchange, Yevheniy Demchuk, a resident of the village of Lvivove in the Tyahyn community, returned home.
This was reported on the Tyahyn community’s Facebook page.
At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Yevheniy Demchuk served in the 36th Marine Brigade. The serviceman went missing in Mariupol on April 13, 2022. He spent four years in Russian captivity.
Recall, on April 11, from Russian captivity returned 175 Ukrainian servicemen and seven civilians. Among them were defenders who carried out combat missions on the Kherson front.
