On the evening of April 19, in the village of Arkhanhelske in Beryslav district, a 43-year-old man detonated a grenade during a conflict with a team of repair workers. Seven people were nearby at the time.
This was reported by the Kherson region police.
“In the village council building, a crew of builders was carrying out repair work. They took on a 43-year-old local man as an assistant laborer. According to the repair workers, the assistant, while intoxicated, performed the assigned task poorly and was supposed to redo it. Instead, he believed that the foreman did not want to settle accounts with him. This led to an argument,” the post says.

The man went home, returned with an F-1 grenade and threw it toward the people near the village council.
The construction workers managed to run away; an 18-year-old boy sustained a minor finger injury and was treated by medics at the scene.
The attacker was detained. He said he found the grenade at home last year.
The man faces from 10 years in prison to life imprisonment for attempted murder and illegal possession of ammunition.
