In 2025 the land fee provided local budgets of the Kherson region with UAH 57.3 million.
This is stated in a MOST article “Survival Budgets. What were Kherson region’s finances in 2025”.
It is noted that for an agricultural region this indicator remains low. The growth rate of receipts is 86.9% compared with 2024, while the average rate across Ukraine is 115.3%.
The causes of this indicator are mined territories, destruction of irrigation systems, occupation of some lands, and the slow recovery of agricultural production.
Earlier it was reported that the level of property tax payment in Kherson Oblast remains critically low compared with other regions of Ukraine. The oblast’s figures are among the worst in the country – they lag only behind the fully occupied Luhansk region.
