The contractor must return more than UAH 454,000 to the budget due to problems with road repairs in the Beryslav district.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
This concerns the major overhaul of a road in the settlement of Novovorontsovka, which was commissioned by the Department of Construction and Infrastructure Development of the Kherson Regional State Administration.
During the inspection, it was found that some of the works were recorded as completed, although in reality they were either not done or not completed in full.
In particular, this concerns the top layer of asphalt. According to the construction and technical expert report, this resulted in losses to the budget.
After taking the case to court, the funds were ordered to be recovered from the contractor and returned to the budget.
