The Kherson City Court issued a verdict in absentia against Kherson region resident Lyubov Tolkachova, who voluntarily took a position in the police illegally created by the occupiers.
This is stated in the court’s verdict.
The court found that during the occupation of Kherson in 2022 Tolkachova voluntarily took the position of acting police officer of the commandant platoon of the Korablenyi City Department of the illegal police.
The fact of Tolkachova’s cooperation with the Russians was also confirmed by interviewed witnesses. They said that Tolkachova worked in a uniform with Russian Federation chevrons, carried a weapon and was at the police station on Filatova Street.
Also, during searches, Ukrainian law enforcement found on a flash drive the “order on personnel” dated August 1, 2022 appointing Tolkachova to the position.
The court found Lyubov Tolkachova guilty of collaborationist activity (part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). She was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of all property.
Earlier we wrote that the court found Svitlana Seryogina guilty of collaboration with the Russians and participation in organizing an illegal referendum in September 2022. The woman entered into a plea agreement and received 3 years of imprisonment.
