Two boys — aged 10 and 11 — were returned from the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
The children are currently safe and are receiving all necessary assistance.
The children were returned thanks to the Bring Kids Back UA initiative and the efforts of the team of the Office of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights.
According to Prokudin, the occupation authorities attempted to send one of the boys to a boarding school.
This year, 265 children from the Kherson region who had been held by Russian occupiers have already been returned. He thanked everyone who took part in these returns.
Yesterday we wrote that from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region to the territory controlled by Ukraine a group of children aged 2 to 17 were returned.
