In Kherson, the composition of the Council on Internally Displaced Persons was approved.
The order was signed by the head of the Kherson Military-Civil Administration, Yaroslav Shanko.
The consultative-advisory body included representatives of key city council departments, relevant public organizations, and the displaced persons themselves.
The city authorities are represented by the leadership of the Department of Social Policy, the Department of Education, the Department of Economics, specialists from the housing allocation sector, and the Child Services.
From the civil sector and international partners, representatives of NGOs providing legal assistance to IDPs (in particular the NGO “Tenth of April”), social partnership, and volunteer initiatives joined.
Additionally, by agreement, eight internally displaced persons joined the Council to directly represent the community’s interests.
Earlier we wrote that in Kherson they created the Council of Entrepreneurs.
