As of February 2025, approximately 75 thousand people live in the Kherson community.
This was reported by the head of the city military administration, Yaroslav Shanko.
According to him, compared with 2022 the population has decreased more than fourfold.
Shanko added that most residents evacuated from the so‑called “red” zones chose to remain in Kherson, hoping to return home in the near future.
