The Novovorontsovka District Court handed down a verdict against Kherson resident Viktoriia Yezukinska, who became the occupation-appointed director of a school on the left bank of the region.
The verdict was published on the website of the Unified State Register of Court Decisions.
According to investigators, in October 2023 Yezukinska voluntarily assumed the position of school director in the village of Kostiantynivka in the Kakhovskyi district of Kherson region.
She switched the school to education under the Russian curriculum, hired teachers, enrolled children in classes, held mass events and sports competitions, and also facilitated the opening of an exhibition in honor of fallen Russian servicemen who took part in the full-scale invasion and occupation of Ukrainian territories.
In addition, the woman gave interviews to media controlled by the occupying authorities, talking about establishing the educational process according to Russian Federation standards.
After examining the evidence, the court, in absentia, found Viktoriia Yezukinska guilty of aiding the aggressor state and collaborationist activity. She was sentenced to 11 years of imprisonment with confiscation of all property.
