In the Kherson district they created the Alley of Unity — linden saplings were planted as part of the nationwide “Green Country” program.
This was reported on the page of the Kherson District Military Administration.
According to the administration, the planting of the alley aims to restore the ecological balance and create a comfortable environment for residents.
“The linden is a sacred protective tree in Ukraine that embodies warmth and kindness and is also a national symbol of the Western Slavs. These trees are widespread across the country and have deep roots in our culture, serving as a symbol of the inexhaustible power of nature and family coziness,” the message reads.
Note that on March 2 in the Velykooleksandrivska community the opening took place of the Alley of Hope — a place of remembrance, faith and support for families of the missing and those taken prisoner.
