The occupying governor of Kherson Oblast, Volodymyr Saldo, claims that the region’s energy system remains “stable and controllable”.
He said this to pro-Russian media.
According to Saldo, restoration work is being organized “as promptly as possible”.
Recall that on April 15, allegedly due to a technological failure in the energy system of the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, a high-voltage power line was damaged. As a result, most occupied communities in Kherson Oblast were left without power.
Last year Saldo promised to provide “stable electricity supply” on the left bank of the oblast. The occupiers planned to replace worn power cables to “ensure a reliable supply of electricity”, but mass power outages continue.
