The pseudo-minister of finance of Kherson region, who was suspected of collaborationist activity, turned out to be a resident of annexed Crimea Yevhenii Nemtinov.
This was revealed by the notice of suspicion on the Office of the Prosecutor General’s website.
According to the investigation, in September 2022 Nemtinov headed the so-called Ministry of Finance of the Kherson region, created by the occupation administration. In this position he ensured the functioning of the pseudo-government body, organized the management of the financial and budgetary system, and also managed property and funds in the occupied territory.
It should be noted that before Nemtinov became the pseudo-minister in the TOT of Kherson region he was the so-called head of the accounting and reporting department of the occupation Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Crimea.
In October 2022, pursuant to the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, sanctions were imposed against him.
Currently the occupation Ministry of Finance is headed by a former employee of the Kherson City Council Yuliia Rassadina.
