A trainee of the Kherson Youth Sports School for persons with disabilities, Denys Trehubenko, became a medalist at the all-Ukrainian freestyle wrestling competition in Khmelnytskyi.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
The wrestler won “bronze” in the 79 kg weight category.
His preparation for the competition was overseen by coaches Dmytro Sheiko and Roman Pavlov.
It is noted that the tournament was dedicated to the memory of Honored Coach of Ukraine, Master of Sports of Ukraine Mykola Mykhailovych Kutei.
Last year, Denys Trehubenko became the gold medalist of the Kyiv Freestyle Wrestling Championship.
