After a massive attack on the energy infrastructure in the southern regions of Ukraine that took place on the night of December 12 to 13, the Ministry of Energy deployed an Anti-Crisis Headquarters for the restoration and stabilization of the energy system’s operation.
This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
It is noted that the headquarters is coordinating the elimination of the consequences of strikes on energy facilities that sustained damage, in particular in the Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
The Ministry of Energy reported that emergency restoration work will begin as soon as the security situation allows.
“In all regions of Ukraine today, hourly outage schedules are being applied. Also, in all regions of Ukraine, power limitation schedules for industrial consumers and businesses continue to be in effect”, – the post reads.
Recall, according to regional authorities, as a result of massive Russian strikes part of Kherson region has been left without power, including – the city of Kherson. Also, due to the lack of electricity in the city there are interruptions to the water supply and trolleybuses did not run on their routes.
