The President of Ukraine honored the border guards of the Kherson detachment with state awards on the occasion of the third anniversary of the liberation of Kherson.

Awarded the Order of Danylo Halytsky:
- Captain Vadym Kukharsky, who commanded the unit during combat operations in the Kherson region. Under his command the border guards destroyed at least 7 invaders, an enemy mortar, several pieces of equipment, and the positions of the enemy’s drone operators;
- Senior Sergeant Volodymyr Repeshko – despite numerous wounds, repeatedly returned to the front. The combat group under his leadership destroyed more than 50 invaders, 3 EW stations, 5 ammo depots, over 30 SP and 4 enemy communications antennas;
- Chief Sergeant Yevheniy Tsapura – for effective work as part of UAV reconnaissance-strike groups in the Kherson region in 2023-2025. Thanks to his actions 3 invaders were killed and 5 were wounded, 2 guns were destroyed, 5 vehicles and 3 enemy EW stations were hit.
