More than 50% of Kherson’s water network has been damaged or destroyed as a result of continuous shelling.
This was said on air by the head of the Kherson Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko.
According to him, because of the extensive damage it has become impossible to provide water supply in the city community.
“Settlements or districts of the city that are close to the Dnipro, and the so-called “red zone” — they are increasingly suffering from shelling, and access to the utilities to repair them, to carry out any emergency restoration work, is complicated or entirely impossible due to the security situation”, — said the official.
Shanko emphasized that this situation remains, in particular, in Antonivka and in the Korabel neighborhood.
