Athletes from Kherson region won prize places at the Ukrainian shooting championship.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
The competitions took place in Lviv among athletes born in 2006 and younger. Kherson region was represented by pupils of the School of Higher Sports Mastery — Yevheniia Zemlyana, Danylo and Illia Ananyev.
Danylo Ananyev won second place in the MG-5 event and finished fifth in the GP-6 event. Illia Ananyev took third place in the MG-5 event and was sixth in the GP-6 event. Yevheniia Zemlyana placed 25th in the GP-6 event.
In the overall team standings, the Kherson team took 10th place among 16 teams.
The athletes were prepared for the competition by coaches Andriy Petrosyuk, Yehor Sukach and Olga Chikalova.
Recall that a pupil of Kherson Children and Youth Sports School No. 6 Angelina Mishchanynets won a gold medal at the Ukrainian championship in Thai boxing Muay Thai.
