1 Separate Center of Unmanned Systems SBS of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (formerly the 14th UAV Regiment), known for its deep strikes on the Russian Federation’s strategic targets, published the manifesto of its transformation.
The unit presents a new vision: a shift from quantitative confrontation to the technological exhaustion of the enemy. The unit’s recent transformation completed its evolution into an independent technological force with a systemic and intellectual approach to destroying the enemy.
Overcoming the crisis of hope
Victory is strategy and tempo. Ukraine has all the intellectual resources to achieve this victory based on them. The Center is already developing and implementing defense practices that give the nation the strength to move forward.
“The enemy will be exhausted first”
This is not a slogan, but a calculated model. Professionalism and systematic methods, as in the case of strikes on the enemy’s critical infrastructure, should deplete the occupier’s resources faster than it can adapt.
Human-centeredness
The strength of the unit lies in the specialists who turn engineering thinking into a fatal advantage on the battlefield. The Center is not looking for “heroes without fear”, but for professionals who want to truly change the course of the war and create technologies that will save other lives.
“We do not seek to fight longer — we seek to fight more precisely. Our vision is to create an intellectual army that sets the rules of war itself, rather than merely reacting to them,” — emphasizes the unit’s founder Borys Martynenko (call sign “Fidel”).
The 1st Separate Center of Unmanned Systems (SBS) is becoming an exemplar of a new model of the Ukrainian armed forces, where results are measured not by numbers but by the precision and thoughtfulness of decisions.
