Since the beginning of 2026, Russian forces have carried out more than 37.5 thousand drone attacks on Kherson and the region.
This was said in an interview with the media “Apostrophe” by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
It is reported that on average about 3,000 drone attacks are recorded each week, and last week was a record for their number.
According to the official, drones remain the most common means of attack. Overall, since the de-occupation of Kherson, Russian forces have carried out about 730,000 strikes with various types of weapons.
Earlier it was reported that during the past week due to Russian shelling 70 residents of the Kherson community were wounded.
