Yuriy Ivanenko no longer heads the Kherson Regional Philharmonic.
Changes in leadership are reflected in the YouControl system.
Since December 18 the duties of the director of the Kherson Philharmonic are performed by Serhii Chaly.
Yuriy Ivanenko headed the institution from 1994.
In 2001 the President of Ukraine awarded Ivanchenko the honorary title “Honored Art Worker of Ukraine”.
In 2021, by decision of the Kherson City Council he became “Honorary Citizen of Kherson” for his significant contribution to the cultural development of the city of Kherson and active public, charitable activities and in honor of the 243rd anniversary of the city of Kherson.
Since May 21, 2024, he is a member of the Council of Public Associations of National Minorities (Communities) of Ukraine.
