In the Kakhovka community, the occupiers failed to launch the educational process under Russian curricula.
This was reported to Ukrinform by the head of the Kakhovka MVA, Vitaliy Nemerets.
“We had 11 schools and 12 kindergartens, no manager or mid-level staff member went to cooperate with the occupiers. Therefore all attempts by the occupiers to open education under Russian curricula have been unsuccessful. Almost all of our educators… work remotely; we have 2,660 children studying in eight general education institutions,” he noted.
Recall that in the fall of last year the occupation’s Ministry of Education and Science of Kherson region announced for the first time the closure of four schools in the temporarily occupied territory due to the small number of students.
