In the Kherson region, provision has been made to equip base communication stations with alternative power sources to ensure their continuous operation during adverse weather conditions.
This was reported following a meeting of the regional commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergency situations and the regional operational headquarters for ensuring the steady passage of the heating season, preventing accidents and carrying out urgent restoration work at life-support facilities.
According to specialists’ forecasts, weather conditions in the Kherson region may significantly deteriorate in the coming days – rain, snow, black ice, and air temperature may drop to -12. Such conditions may persist throughout the next week, the Kherson Regional Military Administration noted.
“The Points of Invincibility are ready to operate, and additional mobile warming centers will be deployed if necessary. Hospitals and communal services will operate in normal mode,” they reported.
