As a result of Russian aggression in the Kherson region, 44 children were killed, and 268 underage Ukrainians sustained injuries of varying severity.
This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
Law enforcement continue to record and document war crimes against children. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, investigators in the Kherson region have opened six criminal cases, within which 12 individuals have been notified of suspicion of committing crimes against children.
Five indictments concerning seven persons have been referred to court. One of them was found guilty by the court.
