Over the period from February 2025 to February 2026, median housing prices in Kherson region increased, although real demand continues to fall.
This is stated in a study by the OLX Real Estate platform,
Thus, on the secondary market the average cost of a 1-room apartment in the region rose by 6% over the year. As of February 2026, such an apartment in Kherson can be bought on average for 632 thousand UAH ($14.3k).
The price in the regional center has practically matched the regional averages, the article says.
At the same time, Kherson remains one of the cheapest frontline cities to buy housing. For example, in Kharkiv a similar apartment would cost 1.1 million UAH, and in Zaporizhzhia, where prices fell by 4% — 644 thousand UAH.
The median rent price for 1-room apartments in Kherson and the region jumped by 33% over the year. Renting a one-room apartment in the city now costs on average 4,000 UAH.
At the same time, overall demand for rentals in the region fell by 10% compared to last year.
Earlier it became known that in January 2026 Kherson region ranked sixth in Ukraine among regions with the lowest average wages.
