In the Kherson region, six healthcare institutions have joined the national program “Health Screening 40+”, aimed at the early detection of diseases in people aged over 40.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Specifically, the program was joined by the regional children’s hospital, Novovorontsovska Central Hospital, three Kherson city hospitals – Karabelesh, Tropinykh and Luchanskyi – as well as the private medical facility “Medikgrup”.
Under the program, patients can undergo examinations to detect risks of developing diseases even before symptoms appear.
As stated on the website of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the program is aimed at people aged 40 and over. It provides for the early detection of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and mental health problems.
