The Kherson City Military Administration approved the report on the implementation of the financial plan of MKP «VUVKG of Kherson» for 2025. According to it, the enterprise ended the year with a net loss of UAH 136.8 million, which exceeds planned expectations (a loss of UAH 74.4 million was forecast).
The corresponding order was signed by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko.
Net revenue from the sale of the water utility’s services last year amounted to UAH 163.8 million, and their cost – UAH 263.7 million, which implies that every cubic meter of water supplied to the city costs the enterprise significantly more than it receives from consumers.
The document also states that 543 people work at the enterprise, and the average salary there is UAH 16,484.
Recall that in the autumn of 2025 it became known that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution allowing part of Japan’s grant support funds to be directed to recovery projects, in particular to strengthening water supply systems in a number of cities, including Kherson.
