The first deputy head of the Kherson Regional Council – head of the executive apparatus, regional council deputy Yuriy Sobolevskyi received 1 044 270 UAH in salary last year.
This is evidenced by the data from his annual declaration.
The cash assets of the Sobolevskyi family consist of both cash and accounts in banking institutions. Yuriy Sobolevskyi himself keeps in cash 135 000 hryvnias, 35 000 US dollars and 28 000 euros.
The official’s wife, Olena Sobolevska, also has savings, including 200 000 hryvnias in cash and 35 050 hryvnias in a bank account.
The family also owns three apartments – one in Kherson and two in Kyiv.
In addition, in Kherson Yuriy Sobolevskyi resides in the apartment of MP Pavlo Pavlish, which is reflected in the declaration.
Recall, in the autumn of 2025 a journalistic investigation “Schemes” revealed undeclared assets of over 3.5 million UAH belonging to Sobolevskyi, foreign currency cash, as well as an elite lifestyle, including the use of a premium-class car registered to a father-in-law who is a pensioner.
In November of the same year the National Agency on Corruption Prevention promised to check the materials published by the journalists.
Sobolevskyi himself explained that in the period 2019-2020 (the journalists were examining declarations for exactly this period, – МОСТ) he worked as a lawyer in Kyiv, and the reported incomes are “typical for a specialist in this field”.
