Russian forces shelled the Dniprovskyi and Korabelnyi districts of Kherson, as a result of which four civilians received injuries of varying severity.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Around 10:30 Russian forces shelled the Dniprovskyi district. A 76-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman were affected — they sustained concussions, blast injuries, and an acute stress reaction. Medics provided assistance; they will continue treatment as outpatients.
At approximately 13:00 the Russians struck the Korabelnyi district. A 54-year-old man was brought to hospital in serious condition. A 52-year-old woman also sustained injuries of moderate severity. They are receiving necessary medical care.
UPDATE: during the shelling of the Korabelnyi district of Kherson an enemy strike hit the house of a 65-year-old man. He sustained shrapnel wounds to the legs, a concussion, and a closed traumatic brain injury.
Earlier this morning Russian forces once again shelled one of the communal utilities in Kherson. As a result of the attack a 37-year-old worker was injured.
Overall, according to the MVA, since the beginning of the year more than 1,500 people have been injured in the Kherson region, the majority due to drone attacks. Among the wounded are children.
