Investigators of the Internal Security Department of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kherson region announced suspicion against a resident of Oleshky, Ivan Lytvynenko, who collaborated with the occupiers and became a pseudo-deputy.
This is stated in the text of the suspicion, which was published on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
As the investigation found, in the summer of 2023 Lytvynenko put forward his candidacy to the so-called council of deputies of the Oleshky municipal district and, following the results of illegal elections, became a deputy from the party “United Russia”.
He also became a member of a deputies’ commission, where he dealt with land issues and agriculture.
In addition, he took direct part in the appointment of the head of the occupation administration of Oleshky.
For such activities, the occupiers even awarded him the medal “For Merit to Kherson Oblast”.
