The occupation leader of Oleshky, on the left bank of the Kherson region, Ruslan Khomenko said that there are no evacuation measures for the population in the city.
He wrote this on Telegram.
According to him, as of now no organized evacuation from the city is being carried out.
He said that a decision on a possible evacuation can be made only after the corresponding order from the head of the occupation administration of the region, Volodymyr Saldo.
Note that, according to volunteer Ksenia Arkhipova, the road to Oleshky poses a deadly danger – the roads are mined, drones are operating, and metal spikes are scattered on the roadway. At the moment, the city is effectively under a humanitarian blockade.
In addition, by the end of December 2025 last year, 10 cases of abduction were recorded by Russians of people who lived in the Oleshky community.
