Main Department of the National Police in the Kherson region has ordered services for non-destructive testing of concrete, as well as determining the quantity and location of reinforcement.
As indicated on Prozorro, the service was ordered from the state enterprise “Kryvyi Rih Expert-Technical Center of the State Labor Service”.
So for 66,540 hryvnias specialists of the enterprise are to conduct tests on 129.8 m2 of the structure.
The work must be completed by the end of 2026.
Recall, since July last year Kherson police have been conducting an investigation into possible abuses in the construction of three “underground schools”. This concerns anti-radiation shelters on the premises of educational institutions, construction of which began in autumn 2024.
At the end of last year the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin said in an interview with MOST that the “underground schools” in Kherson were built incorrectly from the very beginning – they lacked several layers of reinforcement and concrete.
Thus, it is likely that law enforcement ordered the investigation of the concrete and reinforcement as part of one of the probes.
